I am Phil Schillaci, a 55 year old semi-retired Teacher of Special Education in my home state of Michigan. Welcome to myfatherseyephotography. We hope you enjoy your visit here. We welcome your comments at the contact information found below.

The site name is indeed a long moniker in this day and age of dot coms, nets, orgs, and etc's. We apologize for that, but the name is intended as a tribute to my father, Leo, who passed from this life 12 years ago. It is Dad who time and again sat his six kids down in front of the "silver" screen and utilized an Argus projector to throw his 35mm Kodachromes through the air. It was Dad who passed onto his number five child and third son this love for the road, and the passion for picture taking. It was Dad who inspired me to pick up the camera in order to make a record of the places I have been. Family and friends have encouraged me to share them. The journey has been a labor of love.

Enclosed on these pages you will find a sampling of pictures assembled from the mid and far west, including National Parks, forests, monuments, and many a dusty road. We hope you enjoy your visit.
